II Cor.1:3-4
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble; with the comfort by which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
We are blessed that you were led by the Holy Spirit to visit!

Redemption (bought back, purchased) I Cor. 6:20
• Jesus purchased our salvation with His blood
• He paid the ransom for our souls (expiation) I Pet. 1:18-19
• He died our death, so we can live His life
• Acquittal-Jesus dropped the charges
Salvation (God’s eternal plan to rescue man from his sin through Jesus’ birth, death on
the cross, and His resurrection) Rom. 3:25-26, Rom. 6:23
We are saved but are yet being saved:
Justification (past tense) We are saved.
• Jesus satisfied God’s justice (propitiation)
• The debt and penalty of sin was paid by His atoning sacrifice I Jh. 4:10
• He died a vicarious death; being our substitute
• We are therefore justified through faith in Christ and by the shedding of His blood
Rom.5:9
• He imputed his righteousness toward us (made room, included us) that we would be
in right standing with God
Sanctification (present tense) We are being saved.
• It is the purification process Phil. 2:12-13
• We are being saved from the power of sin
• We are set aside, set apart not to be separated, but to lead by precept and
example
Glorification (future tense) We will be saved.
• We will be saved from the presence of sin I Cor.15:51-57
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body,
according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
(Phil. 3:21)
